The Epona dog collar, named after the Celtic goddess Epona who protected horses and foals, features four coins engraved with intricate Celtic knots and a trimumvarite of horses. The design is complimented with a 10mm cabochon-cut stone, surrounded by additional delicate Celtic knot work. This very special luxury dog collar was created as a tribute to the owner's alma mater - The University of Chicago. A golden phoenix spreads its wings against a deep red, hand-enameled background, while four 10mm almandine garnets rest in gold-plated fine pewter holders. This unique maroon and gold motif dog collar honors the University of Chicago mascot of the phoenix, and school colors of maroon and gold.
