The Epona, named after the Celtic goddess Epona who protected horses and foals, features four coins engraved with intricate Celtic knots and a trimumvarite of horses. The design is complimented with a 10mm cabochon-cut stone, surrounded by additional delicate Celtic knot work. This specialty dog collar was designed to celebrate the intimate and historic relatioinship between our two most prized and important domestic animals: the horse and the dog.
All settings are hand-cast of fine, lead-free pewter, in plain or gold plated, if you prefer. The D-rings, adapted from a historic Celtic belt buckle, are custom cast for bon Christiani in solid bronze or sterling silver by Sun Valley Bronze. Bronze is recommended for aggressive or persistent pullers. Please choose desired metal or color from the four choices shown below.
Customize your dog's collar with your choice of gemstone cabochon, listed below. All stones except jade are historically correct, as they were used in jewelry making by various Celtic peoples, some since prehistoric times.

Because each collar is individually hand-made from custom-crafted parts, please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. Will arrive in our signature, handcrafted paper box.
